The alarm didn’t ring

Check Settings › Apps › Pinnap › Location is set to “Always” (or at least “While Using”) and Precise Location is on.
Check that Alarms are allowed in Settings › Apps › Pinnap.
Location updates can be late in tunnels and underground. Use a generous radius (1 km or more) or add a backup time alarm.
Force-quitting the app or restarting the iPhone can stop arrival detection.

“You’re already inside the alert radius”

Pinnap won’t start an alarm that would ring right away. Move the destination farther away or make the radius smaller, then start again.

Backup time alarm

Open the options under the map, tap Backup time alarm and choose a time (at least 5 minutes from now). It rings at that time even if the location update is late, and it is turned off together with the arrival alarm.

Does it drain the battery?

Pinnap checks location only while an alarm is on, rarely and at low accuracy while you are far away, and more precisely as you get close. It stops as soon as the alarm ends.

How is arrival decided?

Pinnap does not predict routes or station times. It checks whether you are inside the radius you set around the destination (straight-line distance).

The free version shows a bottom banner and an ad right after you turn an alarm off. No ads appear while an alarm is ringing.

알람이 울리지 않았어요

iPhone 설정 › 앱 › Pinnap › 위치가 ‘항상’(또는 최소 ‘앱을 사용하는 동안’)이고 정확한 위치가 켜져 있는지 확인해주세요.
설정 › 앱 › Pinnap에서 알람이 허용돼 있는지 확인해주세요.
터널·지하 구간에서는 위치 확인이 늦어질 수 있어요. 반경을 넉넉하게(1km 이상) 잡거나 보조 시간 알람을 함께 설정하세요.
앱을 강제로 종료하거나 iPhone을 껐다 켜면 도착 감지가 멈출 수 있어요.

“지금 위치가 이미 알림 반경 안이에요”

켜자마자 울리는 알람은 시작하지 않아요. 목적지를 더 멀리 옮기거나 반경을 줄인 뒤 다시 켜주세요.

보조 시간 알람

지도 아래 옵션에서 보조 시간 알람을 눌러 시간을 고르세요(지금부터 5분 이후). 위치 확인이 늦어져도 그 시간에 울리고, 도착 알람을 끄면 함께 꺼져요.

배터리를 많이 쓰나요?

알람이 켜져 있을 때만 위치를 확인하고, 목적지에서 멀 때는 낮은 정확도로 드물게 확인해요. 가까워지면 정확도를 높여요. 알람을 끄면 위치 확인은 바로 멈춰요.

도착 판정은 어떻게 하나요?

경로나 역 도착 시간을 예측하지 않고, 목적지를 중심으로 정한 반경 안에 들어왔는지(직선거리)로 판단해요.
